They did the job. Signage was great - both on the road and after we parked. It was very clear where to go, both for passengers and vehicles. The ferry stop(?) itself was well maintained and the staff were efficient. I like how they had the information outside (see image)- you could see the timetable and the map of where the boat/ferry goes. They also gave some info about the highlights of the island. The boat itself was clean and had plenty of good seating options (both indoors and outdoors). They have a few pamphlets available too to tell you where you can go and what you can do on the island. The ride from Cleveland to North Stradbroke island was about 45 minutes, so it is definitely advisable to bring a game or book, or figure out what you’ll do on the island. The best part is probably the timing of the ferries. They time them to align with the buses, which is perfect for passengers!! (Also, you can bring dogs, but they’ll need to be muzzled and on leash).

Horrid to get a carpark so make sure you allow 20 minutes to find a park and walk to the ferry terminal. There is almost zero shelter from the sun so be prepared to bake. Slide their office door to enter lol. Ferry itself was fast and clean. You need to make those aware on Straddie that you’re on the SeaLink ferry and not the Straddie Flyer as they dock at two different areas. There is a cafe/takeaway at the terminal on Cleveland side but nothing on Straddie side fyi.

We were very impressed with how efficient the car ferry service was run. From the initial phone call to make the booking, to arriving on the day, getting everyone on and off the ferry. The staff were friendly and approachable and really knew their stuff. The sunset was amazing. A+++

Excellent service. We took the passenger ferry and appreciated the prompt departure, friendly service, clean and tidy interior with comfortable seats, and arrival/departure all on time. The bus service on the island is timed perfectly to collect Ferry passengers and transport them to the various beaches and towns around the island. Great for a day trip or a longer stay. The whole process was very easy, though do make sure to arrive early enough to find a car park and allow time to walk back to the ferry terminal as parking can be in high demand over the summer holidays...

As a Tree Lopper who services mostly Lamb Island, But the Bay Islands, SeaLink is always top notch service. Yes, They might not have avalibility for a few weeks due to barges being out of service but they cant help that. As a Tree Lopper with bigger trucks, SeaLink always makes sure I have all my trucks on the one barge. From the ladies in the office who answer the phone, too the deckies, They are always smiling and are welcoming. The ride is without a doubt always smooth....
