Mandurah Indoor Rock Climbing — Local services in Greenfields

MIRC has to be the best rock climbing centre I have been to so far. I live in the Perth metro and would still come down to rock climb at MIRC again!

They have bouldering, a slackline, rock climbing and some alternative climbing such as ropes and ladders in the middle. They have a speed wall which is good for the competitive people, so you can race your friends up the wall and see who can reach the button first.

Like other rock climbing centres, they offer different classes such as adult and kids rock climbing classes, trapeze classes; however, MIRC is the only centre to my knowledge who run aerial ribbon classes as well.

I went there with my kids. The place was empty during the holidays which I thought was strange, until we started attempting the walls. None of the climbing stations were child friendly in comparison to any of the other indoor climbing places we have visited previously, it was a lot more expensive for what it offered, and the staff was not the friendliest or most welcoming. I won't be going back...

What a great place. I went there with my 3yo and 4yo, the lovely lady let me try on the harnesses before paying to ensure they would fit in them safely before spending the money. She also helped me put the harnesses on and was really lovely to the kids. Had a great time! Also very tidy and...
