Is this racism? This is less about the food and more about the customer service. This morning there was an older caucasian lady at the counter who refused to serve me an African woman.
It was 8am on a Saturday and I was the only one at the counter. I walked up and she continued to wipe the counter ignoring me. She then told me she would not make me coffee as long as I was holding my phone.
I pay for things with my phone and also I had paused a conversation I was having over the phone, lowered my phone to place the order. Straight after this a lady ( also caucasian) walked up behind me and she took her order and proceeded to ignore me altogether. I was left in shock.

Read moreHaving been for coffee at Miami Bakehouse Mandurah several times, it was a no brainer to make the deliberate journey there to satisfy our coffee craving. Alas, we made the catastrophic error of taking our own Keep-Cups (you know, those environmentally aware things often rewarded a discount when used). Having been rudely told “we don’t do Keep-Cups, for future reference” and then told bluntly “we don’t do 3 shots” and “you can put the lids yourself” before witnessing her carelessly emptying, with zero regard, the coffee and milk into our containers. What a vile experience from an objectional person. If you value coffee and the environment, avoid Miami...
