I love this beautiful walk along the Hobart Rivulet and do it several times every time I visit Hobart ( 3-4 times a year) It’s sublime - peaceful, green, varied and nuanced with a large variety of native and European species of trees. I’ve been lucky enough to see the local platypus on several occasions. The views at the top of the walk of Kunanyi ( Mt Wellington) are stunning and different every day and it’s a relaxing way to walk to the city. Plenty of places to pause and contemplate nature along the way. No public toilet facilities anywhere is probably the only downfall.
