Oak Flats — Local services in Illawarra

A very nice station that I am glad to use whenever I must. Clean, quiet, and safe. Oak flats station has been there for me in some of my toughest times, and I am grateful. The benches scattered among the stretch of platform beyond the main building are not seating areas I frequent, but I understand travellers that do. The two benches enclosed in walls of plexiglass, however, are a paragon of comfort. I envy the vast creative vision of whoever designed this station, and I pray every night that they sleep in complete and utter comfort. Thank you oak flats...

At first glance, Oak Flats station is just another station. But it's so much more. There are hand rails that guide you and deliver you safely to the bus stop. I've used the toilet and wandered the length of the platform, idling away the minutes before the next train. My bicycle has never been stolen or defaced while locked up at Oak Flats station. I'll go there again, perhaps...

Just wanted to say thank you to the lady that was working here on 23/2/24 around 10am. She came out and was helping everybody and making sure that we were all ok and if we needed help with anything.
