Jingili Fish and Chips — Local services in Jingili

FOOD :chips and fish fillets were average and gravy was not good. Food was not competitive , it’s better to go somewhere else with similar or lower prices. STAFF : There was two staff. There was a guy who was frying and other a rude old lady(over smart), she was making funny faces and eyes upper side(as she is showing frustrated) when customers turn back for wait. She think she is doing something that other customers will be happy but it’s not true, Staff should respect their customers and should not frustrated when they asking pack separately their different dishes. Meantime i am mentioning good part of story, when she was making funny faces on customers then guy came front for serve(who was frying) thank god he had a smile on face and understand what customer for asking to do. I want to give more stars for guy who serve after old lady but I can’t because i saw that funny face of lady, she was seems clearly that she is doing over acting and making joke on customer.

WORST...

A large serve of chips was expensive for the small serving given, poorly cooked and under salted. A piece of Flake was extremely expensive but cooked beautifully (the only decent thing in the entire meal). The burger bun was as hard as a rock and hard to bite into. The owner charged us $3.50 for gravy then tried to tell us we did not pay for it. I advised him I watched him write $3.50 down under the serve of chips price but did not write gravy next to it. He finally caved after checking the order and gave us average microwaved gravy.

Overall value for money was lacking and the food was average at best. Save yourself the struggle and fight for gravy and...

HONESTLY THIS DOSENT EVEN RATE ONE STAR.

Disgusting. Fish was leather wrapped in some kind of batter. Chips had been reheated many times. My dog wouldn't even eat the fish. The service was unfriendly and when asked if the fish was local, interstate or overseas, "don't know" with a very I don't care attitude. Oh what happened. Not the Fish and chip shop I remember 12 months ago. ...
