Woolworths Greenbank — Local services in Logan City

If you want tobacco products, DO NOT SHOP HERE. I'll explain. Their advertised (ticketed) prices are incorrect. However, they are refusing to rectify this under "law" regarding tobacco products. As the law states in retail, on the flip side, if you advertise a product (no matter what) in Australia for a price, and that price does not match up when the item is scanned, whatever the cheapest result is, then the customer gets the product for that price. However, not at Woolworths Greenbank.

They're happy to tell you no, and say sorry 50 times in an autonomous tone, however they will simply dismiss you. BUT THIS IS WHERE THEY WENT WRONG. After being told these things, I simply turned and walked out and said "sorry, that's garbage", leaving my partner there for a second. Now, the lovely elderly woman at the counter (I do apologise, I saw no name tag) decides that is a great time to hammer into my partner about manners, telling her how rude I am (I'm more terms than that). That's great, thank you very much. You launched into a lecture in the face of someone with an intellectual disability. She has been crying the entire journey home and is totally scattered. If you think this is soft, try living with what she has to.

To top it all off, I'd love to thank you (once again, the elderly woman) for then rolling your eyes and making a scene when my partner used the wrong card and it declined.

Now, maybe I'm a bit rough around the edges and my delivery was rough, but I said nothing offensive or aggressive to this staff member. I even apologised on the way out. That gave you NO RIGHT to do what you did to my partner and to continue to act like an entitled fool.

I'll leave it there for tonight, just remember, if you read this, lady at the desk, you have abused and upset the sweetest person on the face of the earth.

I haven't been to this shop for a while because of being constantly disappointed, I went tonight hoping things have changed AND yes it had if you cared about appearances. They have had a face lift in the fruit and veg area, but that's about all :( I've shopped at this store religiously since it opened because I believe in supporting local business, and thought it to be a good store but now I have to say it's very disappointing. It's below average and that's in all aspects of the store. Management was always present and took pride in the store but that has gone by the wayside. It has become way too expensive for what you have in the basket/trolley. It is almost always out of stock and the so called fresh fruit/vegies, well that's almost false advertising. Don't know how many times I've paid good money for rotten produce and the meat is not much better. The only meat I buy there now is mince for the dog because that's about all any of the meat is good for. And because we live semi rural simply taking things back is not an option because of distance to and from, it's not exactly just around the corner. I've now decided to shop elsewhere and get my monies worth and will only use this store for cleaning products if needed. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. I was at a self checkout , needing assistance. Waited 5 minutes for someone to come back to allow me to purchase my items. Whistling I was waiting I noticed three young men steal an entire trolley of items from the store entrance. When I was approached by the lady I just gave her a heads up that people had just stolen items from the store. And the other two guys were still inside the store. She said “well I can’t run after them” I responded that I didn’t expect her too and just wanted to alert them. She then took a rude tone with the item that I had in my basket that I brought at the fish and chip shop. As I was trying to explain she said grab your things and get out. I said I wanted to purchase my shopping items before leaving and she refused me. Multiple people around me observed the incident and encouraged to just take the items and leave but I wanted to do the right thing. I asked for manager.
