I'd rate kaans 6 stars if it was an option. Absolutely hit the spot and very reasonable price. They put a really good amount of veg in the kebab which was awesome ( some places are pretty stingy with the veg). Beautiful tabouli flavour through the whole thing. And a real decent amount of meat (see pic). The guy working there was really friendly too and even brought the kebabs to us. The tables were clean, and the shop looked hygienic. Would eat here again.

The meal took some time to come out which I didn't mind. I rather wait for my food then have it come out quickly. The portions were very generous and the fish was soft and juicy. The owner couple were very gracious and friendly.

Best fish and chips in Cairns, ive tried alot of fish and chips around here and this little place top it. Crumbed or battered 👌. Fish sizes are always huge compared to other places that have very small fish fillets. I totally recommend!!!

I was looking for a decent fish & chips with a salad for supper. Came across Kaan's and checked out their menu. Decided on a battered mackerel. Best fish and chips in Cairns, ive tried alot of fish and chips around here and this little place top it. Crumbed or battered 👌. Fish sizes are always huge compared to other places that have very small fish fillets. I totally recommend!!!

Very, VERY generous serving sizes. Plenty of meat that is juicy and tender. I've been around Australia and had a my share of kebabs but I've never seen DOUBLE wraps used for a single kebab just so they can load more meat and salad. They also don't charge extra for additional sauces.

Definitely one of the better options in Cairns. They also use thick traditional fish and chip style chips, thus they also do seafood basket...

Absolutely amazing food! I ordered extra jalapeno and olives expecting only a few extra on top but it was jam packed with both! So happy! My partner got a HSP and said it was the best ever and he couldn't finish it, it was so big!! Staff were all so lovely and friendly! I will defently be back! The baklava is my favourite and my partner loves the turkish delight! Thank you, for such a cheap, and delicious...
