2.5 star food at 5 star prices. After much hype about this place - I was taken aback by the $2 dollar fee for a tiny dab of tomato sauce which I asked for, for the fries and my burger. The sauce was essential for the supposedly “Angus” burger as the patty was bland and the burger bun was dry and very stale, as in 3-4 days old stale. Chewy And unpalatable. If I weren’t so hungry I would’ve walked out. I mentioned my disappointment about the quality of the food and the ridiculous $2 charge for sauce and to the waitress’s credit she went out of her way to have the cost of the burger cancelled. The fact that it was a very basic $12-14 burger being sold for $23 and then an additional $2 for tomato sauce, the cancellation was welcome. Although I was grateful for the discount l, I was also very disappointed that my lunch was such a disappointment and a wasted dining experience. Total disrespect for my elderly mother coming in for a coffee and cake by female Asian staff member. Very rude to my mum, while my mum who is slow moving is a very quite and a gentle old lady.. She normally likes a cup of coffee and cake when coming to cairns but told me she will never come back to your restaurant again and nor will I be coming back. .. It was an awful experience for no other reason that the staff member was pushing us to sit down at a dirty table pointing over her rudely telling her to sit down at this table.. while mum just wanted to come in and look at what gluten free cakes were available at the counter window display she kept Pushing us rudely to sit down.. A café near with good cozy environment and not bad food to Piccones IGA.

BUT IT IS NOT A PIZZERIA as you search, it suppose to be one, BUT it doesn't provide any pizza as the excuse as, it is tooooooo hot when it turned on so the chef cannot stand for the heat.

I beg your glory pardon, a chef cannot stand for heat, so cancel the pizza service, most hilarious joke ever I had.

You should feel shame of this decision as you said you are a chef.

Otherwise, food is OK, if a chef can ruin a fish and chips, what else can you cook? For the lamb bowl, nice flavour profile with mint yoghurt, marinated Fetta, well seasoned lamb and pearl couscous.

If you are not looking for pizza, I will say this place is quite nice and decent, however, the traffic noise and pizzeria has no pizza options, I just cannot stand for...
