We did a full day tour, visited 3 wineries, cbco brewery, a distillery & chocolaterie. Very informative tasting presentation at Brown Hill Winery by Ang. Fun lunch at cbco brewery, burgers, fries & pizzas. Great outlook, & had fun hitting golf balls. After lunch another informative presentation by the fellow at Jarvis Estate. Beautiful setting. Visited Bettenays winery where we tasted more lovely wines & over indulged in a massive selection of nougat. On to The Grove Distillery. A wonderful & lively presentation of cocktails by the delightful Elizabeth! Final stop was Margaret River Chocolaterie for chocolate tasting. A very full & entertaining day. Greg did a great job of transporting us around, provided interesting commentary & delivered us safely back to our Accommodation in Margaret River. Great day, great group, great value. Fantastic private tour experience!!! As a mixed group of locals from the down south area and international Canadian visitors we had an incredible private tour experience with Juliette as our guide! We were able to discuss with the company prior our preferences for stops and each were absolutely perfect. We tried a huge variety of wines, spirits, liquors rather than breweries as that's what we wanted to try as a group. Lunch was delicious, the bus was great, we couldn't have been happier! For the small extra cost each to have a private tour I would recommend it 100% if you have a big enough group. It meant less pick up stops, our own bus, we picked out our locations and overall it was perfect for our group. What an awesome day! We headed out with Chris from Cheers yesterday and the tour was the highlight of our week visiting the Southwest. Chris picked us up from our accommodation and we headed out with another group of ladies who were a great bunch. Between destinations Chris pointed out places of interest and explained how Margaret River became such a prominent wine region of Australia. The wineries and breweries we visited were great, the owners were friendly and informative and the tastings were the best we have experienced.
