What happened, this has been my go to and the only place i would go if i was wanting a kebab or HSP, last night i payed $23 for a salad with a dusting of meat, literally the smallest amout of meat. Let me break it down for you, 77% salad 13% sauce 3% cheese 7% meat. (See my previous reviews below, reviewed over the last 4 years)
I think this place is starting to slip, while it still provides reasonable good service and food, the cost is rather high, not to mention the 4% search charge for cards, but even then they've got the jar out asking for cash tip's. The other complaint is that the tables outside are filthy, I know they can't help all the traffic that drives by, but you wipe a napkin over the tables outside and see all the soot that comes off of them.
And still the best kebabs & HSP's in Melbourne 3 years runnning. Oh & they now make a salad HSP, F Yeah. Had my self the Gozleme tonight, although delicious hot & fresh, there wasn't a whole heap of quality. But it's still delicious and well worth the money.
I've since returned and got myself a mixed shish kebab, and it was delicious, cooked fresh, fresh ingredients, and fast service. These lads we busy with deliver order and still got the job dome in a reasonable manner. I don't think anyone should review a place based on the fact they've had it delivered.do yourself a favour, drive on down and order yourself a fresh meal at a reasonable price, it is worth the 5 star review.
I think this place has a lot to offer, and I know you can tell by my tone that it only just scrapes in as a 5☆. But this has got a fairly substantial menu. Its owener operators suggest that it a community based Kebab shop with locals returning regularly. Let's see if that happens with me. While I was there, two people had come in and seemed like regulars, with a...
Read moreShocking experience, 92 dollars for this. Unbelievable and never again. Also to know what kinda people you deal with, check this guy’s reply to the review. It shows simply how an awful customer service is to the fullest. Well if I get up my couch and pick up my food as he says , definitely will be from a place that’s worth it. Again the food wasn’t worth it and Uber eats definitely won’t charge that much. Will forward this to them by the way. How hard is it to understand that the food portions didn’t worth that money. A side note, before you post lies, I would advise you to record the calls, so that you can use it for your own quality training if you ever have quality or in court of law, just in case people decide to sue you. I was very polite, and never abused anyone . Just FYI, it is not a threat. You lying in the review will affect your brand badly. Unfortunately small business lack on such quality and easily...
Read moreReading the reviews I wish I ordered a kebab as they obviously have priority when you order. I unfortunately ordered a lunch meal (kebab meat, bread, dips, salad) and was put to the back of the queue of kebabs that were ordered after me. The salad is very chunky and hard to eat as a DIY Turkish bread sandwich. Dips very tasty and bread fresh, meat okay lamb a bit over crunchy. Okay portion size but seeing the generous portions of the kebabs makes me think ordering one of those and unwrapping it at home is a better(and cheaper) idea! Was it worth the wait of almost 30 minutes while seeing kebab ordering customers (who ordered after me) go out first? Maybe worth one more try based on other reviews, but a fairly simple expectation of food prepared in the order it is ordered is a pretty basic...
