Learning bike track is fantastic for little ones and also for scooter riders and new skateboarders. The gravel part over the bridge is the only oddity as its constantly covered in gravel that jams scooters and skateboard wheels and makes them crash. The new park addition is also very welcomed, however, some of the new equipment is questionable. The tower is too high and the access points are too advanced/dangerous for most 1-7 year olds which is a big elimination of its audience. The water feature is too messy and pointless and the water button too hard to use. The leaver digger is too far from the sand and too heavy for the interested children to use without injuring themselves when it throws them forwards over it as the scooping completes. Most of the new park infrastructure around the inner west now seems to be put in by people without kids just ticking boxes. Looks nice, but is either not fit for age and purpose or too dangerous. Which leaves us parent having to be hover parents rather than allowing the children to experience and explore at a...
