An absolutely fantastic little place for great food, drinks and atmosphere! I held my 30th birthday party here after finding the venue on Venuemob. I was in contact with Jim, who was very accommodating and clear in his communication, and was always happy to clarify any queries I had regarding the booking. On the day we arrived a little early and the staff had set up a tv for us to run a picture slideshow on (something which proved very popular with my friends) and everything was simple. We had the beer garden area booked, but we ended up having the entire venue booked out for the 30-40 people that attended. Throughout the night the staff were fantastic, going above and beyond for us whenever we asked (for example I ordered my meal quite late and that was fine), drinks and food were delicious and fantastically priced, and the atmosphere in the venue was lovely and cosy. We stayed until late and, although normally Smokin' Barry's closes at 9pm, they were happy to stay open because of our function. I regret the fact that I didn't get the names of the staff that helped us throughout the night, but we'd often chatted and they were both very down to earth and fun to have around. Update Reply to Owners Response "For a chat" and waste further time! Why would I chat with the staff where your reply tells me you are are already aware of the issue and knowledge the rubbish but have done nothing to fix it.

As for "weird way to get a message across" you need to understand that this is not a strange at all and is in fact the commonly accepted way of doing reviews for businesses and places. Perhaps it is time to update your thinking which you can do while picking up the rubbish in front of your business each Monday morning.

Review: 1 Star Their bin is always overfilled so birds spread rubbish all down the street. So if you like eating your "food" near "rotting" garbage plus want to support a company that doesn't care about their local environment then by all means go here. Always alot of litter outside on Dorcas Street. We got married on Saturday at our property and were very happy with Smokin Barry's Food Truck. We had booked with them after reading all the positive Google reviews. Well here is another one! Sheridan was amazing to deal with, we had many dietary issues, in particular many coeliac guests. Sheridan was very patient with all my queries and made me feel confident that our gluten free guests would be well looked after and they were. I am a coeliac too and had no issues at all. Our guests were very happy with the food - generous servings and very tasty. Jim and Sheridan were such a lovely and happy couple on what was a very warm day. I would also like to thank them for leaving us with the leftovers, all of which was demolished the next morning by our guests who had stayed over!
