Bottlemart - Shortland — Local services in Newcastle-Maitland

Unfortunately its not getting any better , my partner and I used to go there to eat regularly but then the food standard dropped right off , we revisited tonight after hearing that there was a change of menu and chef , place was half full and was told would be a 25 minute wait for snitzels , hmmm ok , sat upstairs, music to loud to hear yourself think so moved downstairs. Food arrived , snitzels burnt , mash potato dry as and vegies tough as teak , totally unenjoyable and left it there . Mentioned all this to the waitress who just shrugged her shoulders . Unfortunately wont recommend this hotel anymore as is a shame as we only live 3 mins away and used to enjoy going there . Recommend Diggers or somewhere...

I have always loved this place since i was a kid...but not anymore...the menu is missing a lot of standard pub meals...since when do you order lamb cutlets and end up with herb crusted...you really cant stuff that up but you did...my son ordered snags and chips he ended up with a herb snag since when do kids eat herb snags...you stuffed that up as well....simple is always best...most people i have spoken too hate the new menu...i am sure you will find the numbers lowering...

Came here for dinner and drinks with friends after the revamp they have done. Food was amazing, had a Southern Fried chicken burger which on point and really good cost for what I got as well.
