Fernleigh Track — Local services in Newcastle-Maitland

Great easy ride with minimal hills. We found the track easier to do from belmont and head towards adamstown as the gradient is more downhill on the return trip from adamstown back to belmont. Ride past old train stations and through beautiful forests. There are a couple of water stations along the way to have a drink. There is a few cafes just off the track as well. If you are looking for something to do, then this is a great find. Plenty to see and experience along the way.

It is a great shared path with a wide mixture, from people strolling to advanced cyclists, everyone was considerate, polite, and well mannered.
