Great easy ride with minimal hills. We found the track easier to do from belmont and head towards adamstown as the gradient is more downhill on the return trip from adamstown back to belmont. Ride past old train stations and through beautiful forests. There are a couple of water stations along the way to have a drink. There is a few cafes just off the track as well. Was nice to head through the old tunnel as well. Lived in the area for years and never knew how good this track was. Highly recommend this.

If you are looking for something to do, then this is a great find. Plenty to see and experience along the way. It is a great shared path with a wide mixture, from people strolling to advanced cyclists, everyone was considerate, polite, and well mannered. Was wonderful walking along listening to the native wildlife, makes the time just fly by.

Starting the Fernleigh Track at Belmont we walked all the way to Adamstown Station (15ks) in total. Relaxing walk with beautiful scenery along the way. The tunnel was a pleasant surprise at the end. As this is a shared path with cyclists I will say the cyclists were courteous and rang their bells.
