Referred by a friend, said it was a nice place for coffee on a Saturday afternoon - was absolutely right! Cosy place, nice view, friendly staff. Coffee was good! I returned a few nights later for Thai food. Takeaway available, though only accepting nsw vouchers for dine-in, hardly a drawback. Arrived, ordered, sat and waited - food prepared in good time and packaged well. Portion sizes for different dishes were right-on! Thai food was fantastic! Authentic! Pad Thai was not sickly sweet, mostly savoury, tasting more like a traditional Pad Thai. Massaman curry delightful. Still more to discover - will stop by for a lunchtime burger and chips at some point, will likely be just as good as my other experiences. A great local business with genuinely enthusiastic and nice staff. A gem indeed. Easy wheelchair access. UPDATE: Sunday morning breakfast - fantastic!! We were accommodated despite not having a booking and evidently booking is ideal. Food presented wonderfully and taste to match. Pricing is very reasonable given experiences elsewhere. What can I say, another great experience and we'll definitely be back to try the lunch menu....

We live locally and this place is often busy so we were looking forward to dining. It failed in all aspects to live up to expectations. The service was slow and inattentive - it took about 10 minutes for anyone to ask if we'd like anything after being seated, and more than 45 minutes for our two dishes of food. The spring rolls were the worst I've ever seen or tasted - the size of your pinky finger and full of some nondescript white stuff which had absolutely zero taste or flavour. The green curry was ok...a bit watery and insipid, with very few vegetables, and the other dish was a bland house special of chicken. On the menu, it clearly featured a photo of the dish, with a fried egg on top. When it came out without the egg, we asked politely whether they had forgotten to add it. Nope - that was an extra charge. I've never seen a menu with clear photos of their dishes, then being asked to pay extra if you want what is shown! The owner showed little care about this, or the...

Rang just as they opened to book a table that morning. They were friendly and accommodating. T The cottage has a lovely ambiance, it is not overly crowded so you can talk comfortably to your companions. Quite a lot of breakfast options and many with a bit of a twist on the traditional breakfast fare. My friend had the seasonal avocado and I the breakfast bruschetta. Check the accompanying photos for the stunning presentation, ample serves and quality of ingredients. And yes, it tasted just as good as it looked. So impressed with the service, atmosphere and delicious meals at reasonable prices. Definitely looking forward to a return visit to try their Thai dishes. Easy parking across the road and a very...

DINNER: Amazing renovation. Open and spacious. Great service. Food was excellent and will really liven up the area - very authentic and good prices and sizes. Needs a few extra wine choices with some of the better wineries in the Hunter and beyond if they are going to be a Wine Bar, but great start!!! Winner: Massaman Lamb and Red Duck Curry (with Roti) Pinot Noir wasnโ€™t to bad.

Probably one of the best brunch experiences I've ever had. A charming cafe, in a weatherboard cottage certainly set the scene. Staff were friendly and the menu was so impressive it was hard to choose. I opted for the big breakfast, which was very sizeable and nicely presented on a wooden board. Drinks were also delicious. Good value for money! Would go back any day of the week.
