Stayed at the resort across a weekend in late August 2024 and couldn’t miss having a round! Beautifully maintained couch fairways on this links-style course provided a neat challenge with the layout ensuring that every hole has its own personality, with no chance of playing down a separate fairway! Big props to James in the pro-shop who was more than accommodating and great to chat to! Although I arrived a lot earlier/prior to my tee time, he allowed for me to tee off a lot earlier and was more than helpful when selecting a preferred type of set of hire clubs as I hadn’t brought my own. Big thanks and look forward to my next visit in the future!

Links Lady Bay Golf Club, we visited ad booked in for a game of golf. The area it's in is just beautiful, there was plenty of carparking. The staff in the proshop were friendly and very helpful and just awesome. 👏👏👏. The golf course was in very good condition. Off t he whites it's rated 139, great Links layout. You need to keep up on the front nine. Then more opportunities to score on the back 9 holes. Grees are great size and undulations and good speed. Highly recommend, if visiting Adelaide have a game there and you will enjoy it.

Golf course in great condition, well done ground staff taking care of the course. Older guy in the pro shop wasn't very pleasant to deal with, he is NOT a fan of Future Golf - be warned! Half way through our round went into the restaurant for lunch and ordered the cheeseburger in photo attached. I was brought out 3 spring rolls on a plate and told there was no mistake. The Spring Roll Cheeseburger... is 3 spring rolls on a plate for $16. Disgusting practises to mislead customers like this. Be careful what you order

UPDATE REVIEW 8/11/24 3 Day golfing trip beginning day one at Wirrina GC and Links Lady Bay. Staying overnight at Grosvenor Hotel in Victor. Day 2 playing McCracken GC and Lake Albert GC. Staying overnight at Wellington Hotel. Day 3 playing Tailem Bend GC and lastly Murray Bridge GC. What a brilliant day. The weather was magnificent. The course was in excellent condition. Fairways, greens and bunkers were in top class condition. The greens, as usual, were very challenging. They rolled beautifully all day…… The greens beat us!!Well done to the grounds-staff. A big shout out to George in the Proshop……He was very welcoming and accommodating.

UPDATE REVIEW 6/4/24 3 Day golfing trip beginning day one at Wirrina GC and Links Lady Bay. Staying overnight at Wellington Hotel. Day 2 playing Lake Albert GC and Robe GC. Staying overnight at Crown Hotel Kingston. Day 3 playing Kingston GC and lastly Keith GC.

The course was in excellent condition. It played like “summer” conditions...... the ball sat up beautifully on the manicured fairways and we had great roll. The “challenging” greens were in excellent condition. Well done to the ground staff. Graeme in the pro shop was very welcoming. We had another fantastic day out.

UPDATE REVIEW 24/8/23

The course was in magnificent condition. It played like “summer” conditions...... the ball sat up beautifully on the manicured fairways and we got great roll. The “challenging” greens were in excellent condition. Well done to the ground staff. We had another fantastic day out.

UPDATE 26/8/22 Been 12 months since we last played The Links Lady Bay. We used a crazy deals which was $79 walking including a beer for two people ($89 with a cart). Great value. To give you an idea of how good the course was…… we’ve had the wettest winter in the last six years. There have been a few golf courses that have closed due to the boggy conditions. We’ve played four different golf courses from Sandy Creek in the north to Goolwa down south in the last four weeks. The Links Lady Bay was in outstanding condition…… There were no boggy parts anywhere on the golf course. In fact we had excellent roll on all the fairways. The greens were superb to putt on. The hundred plus bunkers were all being raked as we were playing. I caught up with Steve (head grounds keeper) and congratulated him on the outstanding condition of the course. We gave ourselves a real challenge and hit off the blue markers which certainly added a minimum of two club lengths per hole. Darren and Veronica were very welcoming and accommodating in the Proshop. The weather was outstanding and we had a glorious day out. The Links Lady Bay deserves its status of being in the top 100 golf courses in Australia. Please read my previous reviews which describe the environment and layout of the Golf Course. UPDATE: 24/9/21 Same….. same. Please read my previous reviews. UPDATE: 7/5/21 Links Lady Bay is one of the ”stand out” golf courses in SA. It is rated in the top 100 in Aust. We play the course a couple times a year. It never disappoints. About an hours scenic drive from Adelaide. The course was presented in excellent condition........ well done to Steve (headgroundsman) and his ground staff...... we had a great chat with Peter and Jack who were proud of their course. The course has a wonderful undulating “links” layout with manicured fairways and large greens. There are many deep and strategically placed bunkers that add to the overall challenging experience- particularly off the back markers. There are some excellent holes ........ the par 3 17th is a standout. Very peaceful and relaxing setting with kangaroos adding to the overall wonderful experience. This is an excellent course to play all year round, particularly in winter when other golf courses are “boggy”. Staff are very welcoming. Always look forward to our golf trip. Watch out for specials throughout the year - currently Crazydeals $79 includes game for 2 and a drink or $99 with motorised cart. Be sure to add Links Lady Bay to your bucket list of courses to...

My husband just had the most horrible experience with Darren in the pro shop at Links Lady Bay. We are on holidays from WA and he had booked to play on a deal with Golf Now that Darren wouldn't honour. That's fine, it could be a mistake by either the club or Golf Now and he was happy to pay the difference if it was but the rudeness and arrogance piled onto my husband by Darren was just disgusting. That's not how you treat customers that have driven an hour from Adelaide to play at your golf club. The lady I spoke with at Golf Now was lovely, couldn't be more apologetic and was so embarrassed that my husband was treated that way (I don't think Darren was very nice to her either!).

Do yourself a favour.... DO NOT GO to this course - it is looking tired and old and the customer service is a disgrace. We don't know who Darren is to the club - whether he's the pro or a staff member but he shouldn't be allowed front of house. So now my husband is driving to Mount Compass Golf Course to play. He played there a week ago and said it was stunning and the pro shop guys were extremely friendly and helpful. He wouldn't go back to Links Lady Bay if someone paid him and it seems he's not the only one - there was hardly anyone there. An...

I have been playing golf at Lady Bay since 2013. The last few visits have been disappointing experiences. The pro shop staff are extremely rude and have ruined our experience. Recently they have refused to honour Future Golf rounds, without explaining when booking months ahead, that we would need to do so. Most recently, we booked months ahead for a group, when we arrived they claimed we hadn’t booked the correct amount of carts. They also stated we would need to provide handicaps because “they aren’t a public course”. Staff were rude and aggressive and when confronted, refused to acknowledge this. Unbeknownst to them, they referred to our group as idiots to the group behind us who were actually our friends. When confronted with this, they denied this also. James, the owner, did apologise and acknowledge that his staff are rude. The course itself has patchy greens and the bunkers are basically mud, can understand why they are no longer in the top 100 public courses....
