Domestic terminal was very busy so many people wondering around lost uncertain and anxious Unfortunately there wasn't enough terminals or assistance available. I arrived at the airport 1 hour before my flight. I went in the queue to book luggage at the Qantas checkin desk as I knew my suitcase exceeded the weight limit I was redirected to the self service luggage conveyer belt by a helpful qantas staff person. Unfortunately the gate closed as I was on the final process of placing tags on my luggage. Feeling anxious I went to rush back to the service desk on my approach the friendly helpful staff person whom assisted me asked if I was ok...i explained my situation and she suggested I follow her, with assistance from the terminal check in staff whom managed to process my luggage onto the plane thank goodness. I then needed to go to the fishbowl on the corner near the security entry gate to pay for my excess limit for my suitcase whilst waiting to be served I was told sorry we're closed now then that person directed me to go upto the departure gates where I can pay for my excess weight I was then stopped by security by this stage I was beginning to panic as if I didn't pay the excess in a timely manner my bag wasn't going to make it to Karratha on the same flight. Finally got upstairs searched out the help desk and paid the excess to be informed over the intercom boarding onto the...

1☆ for the Old Lady serving the coffees (5-6am) today who ignored me & proceeded to serve the next person in line, avoiding all eye contact with me, completely rude no good morning hello hi smile nothing, just ignorance.... She was even rude serving my coffee, pushed it to the side, called out cappuccino... still nothing no eye contact greeting at all. The actual Man making the coffee 5☆ acknowledged me, asked for my order & greeted me warmly, Thank You Kindly Sir, your superior service has never changed at any given visit & most appreciated. Pancake machine was stating error, no efficience from staff to correct it, when one finally came she said you will have to go wait it will take a while, nothing further. A young man was stopped at entry by the lady on desk, stating he rqd. a shirt over his fifo shirt due to stainage which tbh was very minimal, he looked presentable to which I found nitpicking, at least could have been spoken to nicer as he was polite. ☆Majority of staff here need a recheck on treating fifo workers with some respect - Not all fifo memberships are from work, but actually earnt travelling privately to earn status, regardless all members deserve a quality experience in the business lounge & at minimal the standard of polite...
