I recently had the pleasure of playing at Secret Harbour Golf Links and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The course is impeccably maintained, showcasing the dedication and hard work of the staff. From the moment I stepped onto the first tee, I knew I was in for a treat.
One aspect that stood out to me was the medium difficulty level of the course. It provided a fair challenge without being overly daunting. The greens, in particular, were quite challenging, requiring precision and careful consideration. I found myself strategizing my shots to navigate the undulating slopes and tricky pin placements.
The rough and sand bunkers added an extra layer of difficulty to the game. The rough was thick and punishing, making accuracy off the tee crucial. The sand bunkers were strategically placed, often requiring precise shots to escape unscathed. These hazards kept me on my toes and added an element of excitement to each hole.
Despite the course's moderate difficulty, Secret Harbour Golf Links offers forgiving fairways that are ideal for beginners. This makes it a fantastic course for players of all skill levels. It provides a welcoming environment for newcomers to the game while still offering enough challenges to keep experienced golfers engaged.
In terms of value, I took advantage of the $55 round plus cart deal, available from Monday to Friday after 12 pm. This was an excellent offer considering the quality of the course and the overall experience. I felt like I got my money's worth and then some.
Overall, I highly recommend Secret Harbour Golf Links. It has quickly become one of my favorite courses that I have played on thus far. The well-maintained course, challenging greens, and forgiving fairways make for an enjoyable and memorable golfing experience. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a beginner looking to improve your skills, this course is definitely...
Read moreThe cafe was amazing, great service and great food. However the pro shop and the members of this golf course were atrocious. As a group of 22 year olds, we were instantly treated with no respect. The man servicing at the pro shop was rude and did not give us the time of day as new players, let alone members of the club thinking they own the whole place. First tee off we had to wait for people in front of us, then after teeing off, on the first hole, members came up to us yelling and saying we were going to slow and werenât raking bunkers, whilst a couple of our group was still in them, trying to hit their ball, mind you this was the first hole and bunker we had stepped into. There wouldnât be a problem at all if they came up to us and asked politely to go ahead but they had no intention of doing this at all. Instead we were yelled at and accused of doing things we werenât even doing. Then to end the day, unfortunately one of the carts ran over a piece of glass, in which we took photos to make sure they knew where the glass was on the course so it didnât happen again, but instead we got accused by the worker in the pro shop of our story being âsusâ, and then they proceeded to look into our bags without asking while we returned our golf clubs. DO NOT recommend for new players or those who just want to go for a nice round of golf. I remember the times when golf clubs and members were more than happy to show kindness to those who want to...
Read moreMy husband and I recently got married at the Secret Harbour Golf Links and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Ruth Cahill who is the wedding and events coordinator was amazing and helped us plan everything including ensuring everything was within our budget and if we had to spend a little more eg extra bar stools for a cocktail Reception, she would reach out to vendors to find the most affordable hiring prices. She helped with decorations and recommended vendors for that, and she was there for you with any questions, concerns and advice. She went above and beyond in the lead up and on our wedding day she did not stop. The food was phenomenal and even our guests commented on how delicious everything was. We had an open bar which was awesome and all the staff were really friendly. The alcohol was great too even the house wines FYI. The venue itself is beautiful and we have lots of beautiful photos to remember the day and photos on the course which we arrived via golf cart, I highly recommend you hire those they were a blast! Everything from the ceremony, photos, and reception was amazing and there's nothing I would want to change. Our wedding was perfect! I would highly recommend getting married here. Wedding planning can be stressful and for someone like me who isn't the best at making decisions at the best of times, Ruth is your woman. The venue is beautiful and the staff are amazing and the hats off...
