Colombo 21 - Sri Lankan Food Catering — Local services in Sydney

I would never order food from here again. I am Sri Lankan, & have never had such terrible Sri Lankan food (or such terrible of any cuisine) & also never had such expensive Sri Lankan food. One of the dishes we ordered for our take away order, was the black pork curry. We instead got "deviled" pork. I don't know what that meat was that we got, but it was like like eating jerky, that was tossed in a supermarket asian sweet & sour sauce. The dish did not resemble pork one bit, let alone deviled pork. We ended up throwing out this meal after having a taste. We called the restaurant to ask what we had received, & he said that we had ordered the deviled pork & "that's the Sri Lankan way to cook deviled pork". We also ordered 4 lamb rolls. When we turned up to pick up the food, we were told they only had 3 left, & gave us a fish roll to replace the lamb one. Would have been nice to be told when we placed the order. When we got home, I split one of the lamb rolls in half & immediately got a funny smell. I sniffed the roll, & it had an obvious off-food smell. I asked the 3 other people I was with to smell it, & they immediately said the same thing. I did the same thing with all the other rolls, & all the lamb rolls were clearly off. On top of all this, the pricing for all the food we had ordered came to $96. The same food ordered at many other Sri Lankan restaurants around Sydney is literally 50% cheaper. If I could give zero...

Unfortunately it was a very bad catering experience for us but we still paid the full amount without a question.... as we realised these ppl has just started the business and thought how they must be struggelling in the pendamic time... The guy who came to make hoppers for our son's birthday party was making hoppers when there were no people around and when my guests went to him and asked him "could you pls make us new hoppers" (as the one he alredy made went soggy due to wind) then without a word he went and made hoppes and threw them to the plate... My guests were so kind as they only told me the day after as they don't want to hurt us during the party and they didn't want to have hoppers on that day after that guys bad gusture.... Luckiley we had BBQ and other food as well for them to have and it was only 28 ppl.... The party was ruined by these people , we realised it was a costly mistake.... My partner was so generous as he doesn't want to argue with them and paid $800, but I am writing this review so that they don;t do it again to someone.... Hope you undestand Colombe 21 I am a positive person too and I really don't want to give you 1 star but if you put yourself in my shoes you...

Ordered food for takeaway at 8:00 pm on 28/1/2022, was asked to Come in at 8:45pm. I went at 8:45 pm, I was asked to wait for 15 minutes …..Went there to pickup my order at 9:15 pm my order not yet ready and was asked to wait for another 15 minutes. How well is their time management and customer service. Terrible. If unable to do take away services if they are busy, then why they need to take??? should have informed me ahead.
