The best place to get fresh varieties of TOFU takeaway in Sydney. Never have seen any such place elsewhere.

Food Varieties: They have some unique food varieties of TOFU. Say like tofu yoghurt, tofu pudding, fried tofu chunks. Each one of them is just so delicious.

Food Taste: Plain Tofu - These are so soft and so fresh that they melt in to your mouth just like that. Whenever I go to buy them, they are mild hot. It means they're just out fresh.

Tofu Yoghurt - This is another signature item in their shop. My kids love this yoghurt and hope all kids love them too. Very smooth and delicious.

Tofu pudding - This is a masterpiece of all I would say. All of my family loves this dish. This is so smooth and creamy and delicious. The taste is just out of the world.

Fried Tofu - These are another marvel in the tofu world. So very soft and yummy that you can keep on eating them forever.

Pricing and value for money: The price is very low and cannot be compared with any other store in town. Best price and value for your hard earned money.

Seating: This place offers takeaway only.

When to go: Whenever you go, you are bound to stay in the queue. Yes, that's true. This place is super crowded throughout the day. It's the most popular takeaway place in belmore. So make sure you fit in the queue as soon as you can, to enjoy the most soft and yummy tofu ever.

The Dau Fu Fa was really good, the ginger syrup is the best we have ever had in Sydney. Ginger syrup is packed in sealed foiled packet. Very brilliant idea. The outside of packet is a bit sticky due to the syrup residue. Wish the stickiness was rinsed or wiped away (if you eat it at home, it’s fine you can easily rinse the outside of the packet). 5 stars for Dau Fu Fua.

Downside: Normally the women serving at the counter use the same glove that they handle cash to handle the toufu. This is very unhygienic!! The lady staff should not do this practice.

We wanted to try the tofu but scared they’d use the money handling gloves to grab the toufu. The English speaking younger guy was not offended when he was asked to change gloves before he handles the toufu. To my surprise he also used a big plastic spoon to scoop the toufu instead of grabbing with hand. Thankfully! I wish all other lady workers are like him. Thank you!

Lastly, this is a cash only business. Wish they accept...

However, the service could use a smile; the lady at the counter lacked the warmth you'd expect, which dampened the overall experience. Additionally, the establishment is cash-only —a fact not advertised anywhere, even at the counter, leading to an inconvenient surprise at checkout. It's a significant oversight that can lead to a frustrating scramble for cash, with the nearest ATM being a good 600 meters away, past the train station on the other part of the town, outside a chemist. A simple sign could save customers time and trouble. 3 stars due to the inconvenience caused as I would expect an establishment with a long history as this, one would expect such basic customer service elements to be...
