I went to the bakery after a review on a food blog site and didn't think much of the bakery until I tried it. Well yes its just a bakery but they make some amazing flat breads with Za'atar, Lamb Meat, cheese and also mixed breads with Za'atar and Cheese. Za'atar is a wild thyme mix, Za'atar is to Lebanon what Peanut Butter is to America. It is generally prepared using dried thyme, oregano and some combination thereof and this can be brushed onto flat bread with olive oil to make an amazing dish. The owner is great to talk and very humble and I ordered a 6 of the rotis as it is called, a drink, and puff filled with feta cheese and Halloumi and it all came down to a mere $20. The food is rich in it's contents and you can have various toppings on your roti, like mint olive on Za'atar, Chile powder and lemon on your meat roti to further enhance the flavours. This is a must visit place for it's authentic Lebanese food and the price too. There is quite bit of place to sit and eat in the bakery for your afternoon snack.

ย ย ย Read moreOrdered 4 dozen catering size pizzas for a birthday party today. Firstly I would like to say that the customer service by Maggy was great. My issue is with the actual food. We have had catering size pizzas so many times at functions or that we have bought from other places so know what we expect. The order from this bakery today is the first time we have ordered from here and was very disappointed. The size of the pizzas were so so small compared to other places and when we went to pick them up, the price was slightly different to what we were quoted over the phone. They were charging us for the pizza boxes that they put the pastries in. That is a first where we get told that we are being charged for the pizza boxes. Overall, customer service was great but very disappointing...
ย ย ย Read moreFull disclosure, I am friends with the owner. Delicious Lebanese food baked fresh and served with care. Relaxed, reliable, old school cafe where you can sit and watch the world go by. I love the lamb zataar with cheese (get the chilli and lemon juice) and the spinach and cheese pocket. Friendly service (even if you're not mates). When I sit here there is always a steady stream of locals and friends who take pause in their lives to eat together, drink tea and coffee and really talk. A delightful place on a Sunday morning for something different to the usual...
