I’ve been travelling the East Coast for about 6 weeks, and the sunrise kayak tour in Sydney Harbour has easily been the best tour I’ve done while travelling.

Vianney was incredible from start to finish. He strictly only takes out 4-5 people at a time, which adds an intimate feel to the tour, but also enhances the feeling of safety, knowing Vianney could reach us in just a second if we needed a hand.

Setting off at 4:30am, we had the Harbour to ourselves while the city lit the sky. We had the opportunity to snap photos and take in the incredible views. Vianney also made sure he took loads of incredible pictures of each kayaker on the tour, which was absolutely wonderful.

Kayaking under the Harbour Bridge and by the Opera House while the sun rose was a once in a lifetime experience. Vianney didn’t rush us at all and allowed us to go at our own pace. He created a very calm environment and was constantly checking in with each of us to ensure we were doing ok. He also has an incredible sense of humour, which shone throughout the tour.

This is a tour you truly do not want to miss on your travels. Experiencing Sydney in such an intimate setting with only a handful of others was magical. As the tours only cater to 4-5 people, it adds to the specialness.

I recently had the pleasure of joining a sunrise kayak experience with Vianney Kayak, and it was truly unforgettable! From start to finish, the service was top-notch. Vianney was so friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt comfortable, regardless of experience level.

Watching the sun rise over the water was magical—the colors were stunning, and the peacefulness of the early morning added to the experience. V was knowledgeable about, sharing interesting facts as we paddled. The equipment was well-maintained and made for a smooth and enjoyable kayak experience.

Best sunrise ever!! We had the most wonderful time doing the sunrise paddle with Vianney. It was truly a magical and one of a kind experience. Vianney was wonderful you can tell how passionate he is about wanting people to have this experience. Don’t book with the other tour companies, you will be so sad when you realize that it’s his group out there watching and enjoying the sunrise in a small group while the other company is just starting to paddle out in a swarm of kayakers.
