The August $5 food festival was a lure. There was average 3 out of 6 food stalls that I noticed offering $5 meals. Much of the food was over $12 except the Laksa stall. There was two pancake places one Turkish Style one French. The food stalls look good. I did the veggo luksa. Very yum. My daughter got the nachos from the guy who also sold paella. The market stall holders where mostly freindly. It was a nice day out. I suggest to park somewhere else and get public transport. Some didn't interact with you when you looked at what they had to sell. I'm very friendly and like people. I bought some stuff to those hand made stalls my daughter was attracted to. The candle lady was very friendly but her unique skull soya candles a bit over priced. But would consider if she...

Arguably one of the oldest markets of Sydney. Paddington Markets is a community based market supporting local people passionate about their craft and the local community. When you visit and buy a product from Paddington Markets you not only support local and emerging designers and their products, you also contribute to providing a warm meal and support for Sydney's homeless and disadvantaged through the Eddie Dixon Centre which is totally funded by Paddington Markets. Paddington Markets is an initiative of Paddington Uniting Church encouraging faith, justice, inclusiveness and creativity. The prices are very good as this is a grab and go place. Roughly 150 ++ stalls have something for everyone. A must visit place if you...

Paddo markets is your place to go for unique, designer goods such as fabulous soaps, jewelry, chocolate, artwork, breads among other fancy things. I wouldn't say it's cheap - not compared to other markets - but has it's own familiar vibe with super friendly stallholders and a good variety of food to keep you going. It's also in a lovely setting within the church grounds, and makes for a perfect afternoon strolling around in the sun and enjoying the atmosphere. Tip: Many of the food stalls will have specials close to pack up time! I'd visit again for...

I visited this market 10 years ago, and today marked my third visit. Unfortunately, it hasn’t changed much and feels like just another market you can find anywhere in Sydney. These days, markets don’t seem to offer much in the way of new or unique experiences. This one is no exception, with most stalls selling jewelry, clothing, and similar items. It’s a nice place to visit if you’re a tourist or if the weather is great, but it doesn’t feel special enough to be worth visiting every week.

The market is always worth a visit, lots of stalls from prints to fashion, with art drawing, perfumes, Turkish delight (!) and all your food shopping needs thrown in too. Also some great eat-right-now stalls as well. Parking can be tricky so you're better to get there by public transport, buses being the closest option. I bought some great prints on my last trip there. It is one of my favourite markets in Sydney on a weekend. My other favourite would be the Bondi market.
