Woolworths at Warrilla Grove ( south of Wollongong) decided a year or so ago - to put a Coin attachment on their Trollys ( like ALDI) so We would be Forced to Pick up & Return them to dedicated Bays. This Money saving idea of Trolly Returners Salaries -DIDN'T result in any increased Trolly Maintenance. Saturday, returning mine to the Bay, (needing to attach it to the One in Front- to release my $2.)- I found SIX Trollies Broken & Vandalised. Another Customer explained that Vandals jammed Screwdrivers into the Coin part - looking for left Coins. When you Looked - you Could plainly see them Damaged & Inoperable. WHY THESE TROLLIES WERE LEFT IN THE BAYS - FOR UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS, IS a Question that needs Answers. Secondly, the Underground & Open Air Car Parks are so badly maintained - that the Trolly Wheels can't cope. A month ago - inside the Supermarket - with a Full Shop - the Wheels Froze & I had to get a Worker to go get a New Trolly; help transfer my Groceries & THEN manouver the two - to get my $2 back. Woolworths & Coles in nearby Shellharbour & Warrawong DON'T have this Extra Inconvenience & seemingly Better Trolly Maintenance. Is it Worth Shopping at Warrilla Grove - with a Big Shop OR in a Rush? Well I've gave Two Examples of the Gamble you Take. I'm Obviously Not the Only Customer of Woolies- & Not the Only Fed-up Customer with Stories to tell UPDATE: Slowly these useless Coin Trollies are being replaced....when, even having the Locks duct-taped as Repairs (TRUE) they finally give up. Yesterday, I had a LESS Bad time Grocery Shopping - with a...

Their direct to boot service is the most rediculouszand the worst of any other Woolworths around them. They are the only store that make delivery partners come in and mark off the order themselves, load trolleys and have specific demands that we bring our own trolleys and need separate ones for multi order.
Clearly palming off their job to others when they are getting paid for this. Perhaps they should try pushing two trolleys through their poorly designed exit and carpark full of pot holes.
They dont understand delivery partner drives are paid to pick up and deliver and their time is limited and only paid for deliveries not wait times.
Every other neighborhood woolies either hands it to driver or brings it direct to booth without making us jumps...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWoolwors 'rilla strikes again! What an absolute dump of a store. You always have to remember to check the use by date on everything you pick up. Too many times out of date food is on the shelves. The most recent was a dairy item out by 4 weeks, stupid me didn't check it first, only when I got home and felt like eating it discovered how far out of date it is. The trolleys are woeful. Old barely turning wheels and filthy as. The mank in the meat fridges is enough to make you gag... and PLEASE put some of the checkout staff on the 12 items of fewer line, they shouldn't be on the main checkouts. What happened to having a moderate scan rate level? Has to be the worst Woolworths...
