Always a lovely experience having a coffee and/or a meal at this hidden gem in Warilla. My husband and I treated my mother to a quick lunch for Mother's Day, while out shopping. I loved my fresh pressed apple juice, and enjoyed an interesting but very tasty interpretation of a Cuban sandwich, on this occasion. It was cooked well and presented nicely, jam packed with tasty filling. The portion was more than I could eat, especially as it was served with perfectly cooked, delicious sweet potato fries. Hubby enjoyed a huge pulled pork burger served with chunky steak cut chips, along with a good quality flat white. Mum also enjoyed the Cuban sandwich and a huge, very indulgent looking chilled iced mocha. The service was friendly, fast and efficient, despite being very busy. Absolutely recommend a trip to Cafe El's if you are in the vicinity.

We're down in Shellharbour for the long weekend and decided to stop in for some breakfast. We had the Corn Fritters and the Loaded Croissant, and the food was exceptional for a small town café, coffee was good too! The kids had milkshakes and pancakes and loved them, too. I don't often write reviews, but Café Els deserves a call out and is highly recommended! We'd definitely come back again if we visit this area.

Really lovely staff, great food and drinks, and the acai bowl was the best we've seen and eaten yet! They were great and left off the peanut butter at the last minute. The chai latte was very sweet (but the sweeter the better) and if you like really sweet jam, then go for the scones. My preference is that the jam was TOO sweet, but I guess it's under desserts for a reason! Would have loved to come back.

Very disappointed with the service at this place today. I was keen to spend a fair bit of money at your business, but was turned away and not allowed to sit at a particular table because your staff member would rather sweep and mop the area instead of allow me to sit next a powerpoint to charge my laptop whilst I worked on it. Mind you it was 2pm, and you're advertised closing time is 5pm. That's 3 hours where you shut off a large section of your business to clean, and customers are turned away, losing potential business. The small area remaing open was already fairly busy, and over half the tables were 'closed' for cleaning. I normally don't have such bad things to say about a business, but you have lost a regular customer today because of this. I recommend you review your cleaning schedule and...

The menu at cafe els is fantastic! Their attention to detail, especially when you receive your food is amazing... presentation is a big deal to me and I just love how the food is plated - something you would expect to see in a magazine. This has become a regular spot for us, and everything we have tried has been delicious including Cafe Els coffee which is always on point. The cafe itself is always exceptionally clean and tidy, with really friendly staff who always make us feel welcome. We have young children and the staff are always more than accommodating with coloring books (and the best milkshakes) to keep them occupied so we can relax and enjoy our meal. I recommend trying the açaí bowl or pancakes for breakfast or one of their delicious burgers for...
