I spent $76 at this warilla subway and they stuffed up one of the orders, no chicken on the teriyaki chicken, so I rang to let them know and right away I was to sound like a liar, so the manager instructed me to bring the sandwich back and he make a new one, I drove 15 minutes and gave it to him he went out the back was gone for 5 minutes to bring it to me and say I was wrong there is chicken in it. I told him why would I drive all the way here for you to say there is chicken init when my partner checked it too there was nothing, then the girl who was working there to rudely said that the chicken is cold so do you think he would go out the back and put chicken in it, I asked to feel the chicken and it was warm, I did ask to make me a new one cause Who knows what he did with it out the back but he said he won’t so then I said ok well I’ll be putting up a bad review, and then rude girl Well you have to make a bad review then cause we are not making a new one. I say that the manager of the subway in warilla is very shady and the worst customer service I’ve seen in this area, they have absolutely no customer service skills. I hope the owner sees this, and I would consider who you have hired cause I won’t be spending my money here ever again and I will be getting a refund for a minor stuff up that could of being a good out come...
Read moreIs this what subtle racism feels like? It’s been a few weeks, but I suddenly thought of it and decided to leave a review. It’s not entirely clear, but there was something unsettling about the experience. Since I was with my daughter at the time, I tried hard to hide my discomfort and just move on. While picking up the food I ordered through the app, I felt strangely ignored. This was my first time experiencing something like this, which is probably why it took me so long to leave this review. But the fact that I still remember it makes me think my feelings back then might have been valid. As other reviews suggest, this place seems to be a bit less friendly. I want to believe it wasn’t racism, and this isn’t a place I go to frequently, but I’ve gone there from time to time. After that day, however, I haven’t wanted to visit Subway again. The scenery around Illawarra Lake is nice, and I stopped by with my kids for a picnic, which made this experience even more unfortunate. It was an older white lady. I don’t think I’ll be visiting Subway for a while, and especially not this location. The food itself was fine, which is why I hesitated to leave this review. But I wanted to share this for other Asians—maybe being aware in advance will make the experience...
Read moreWent to Warilla Grove and was served at Subway by a young women who was extremely slow, inefficient, forgetful and has extremely poor listening skills. I ordered a footlong meatball sub and a jaffa. After beginning my order she asked me if there was anything else I'd like to order. I replied "yes please. Can I grab 2 meatball mezza pots". She then began finishing up my order but I noticed she hadn't done the mezza pots and I had to repeat myself several times about what drinks and cookies I would like and she still got the order wrong. I then asked her if she was getting the mezza pots and she replied "we don't have any meatballs". This is something that should have been said at the beginning of my order as I was unable to order anything else for my 2 young children and there was people waiting to be served. She seemed flustered, a extremely unpleasant. Will not...
