I went to the Twlight Didgeridoo Cave Tour at the Ngilgi Cave in Yalingup W.A., and I would highly recommend it to anyone that would like to learn more about our Aboriginal history, culture and their traditional ways of life in this region. This tour was so much more than just going into a cave to hear a didgeridoo. You will definitely come away with a whole new appreciation and understanding of our Aboriginal people and how the six seasons make so much sense. The Peppermint tree has just become my new favourite!
Josh from Koomal Dreaming was a very informative and engaging guide throughout this tour. He shared knowledge and stories as we made our way through the winding trail to the cave, and this continued when we were inside as well. The acoustics in the cave were amazing for the Didgeridoo, and a unique experience - this cave is very special. We were also invited to explore deeper into the cave if we wanted to. If you can't manage steps to go into the cave section (which is only a part of the experience), you can still have an enjoyable time whilst staying above ground. The area around the cave has been well designed and has all sorts of exhibits, wildlife and plants to capture your interest while waiting for the group to come back up to continue...
