Yallingup General Store and Cafe — Restaurant in Yallingup

We drove 30kms to this small cafe and store as it looked beautiful in the pictures, local and freshly made food run by locals. The food was fine but very overpriced. I was happy to see the fresh bakery. We got a chicken burger, vanilla milkshake and death by chocolate cake. The portion size was small compared to the expensive prices. $15.50 for a small chicken burger with only greens and almost next to no chicken shreds and not even a patty, felt like a rip off. The cake was okay nothing special but soft and fresh I'd say. They do have a lot of local cosmetics, soaps, perfume and stuff but are really overpriced. A Yallingup institution & a regular place for all the locals! Our favourite for daily coffees & everything in between. Their homemade spinach & feta rolls are hard to go past ;) The atmosphere of the shop & the staff always makes our visits too! Don't miss spending time in the back garden; on a hot summer's day it's an oasis to relax in for your pre or post swim! We love that the store has so much great stock that saves trips into town. Best place for a coffee or some healthy food in the area. After a surf, do yourself a favour and head down for whatever refreshment perks your interest at the time.

Try something different. It feels like that secret country deli when you were a kid. Its got great looking friendly and helpful staff, rad tunes, wax, fins and random surf gear, amazing coffee and an amazing vibe. Grab some bread from the woodfired bakery next door on your way home.
