Galzigbahn — Local services in Sankt Anton am Arlberg

Good morning,

I am contacting you after a very disappointing experience today. We are coming to ski here for 10 years and are residents of Schollberg Pension for even more.

This day we ask at the Rendlbahn office for an hourly day ticket because we only want to ski for two hours but when we come back we were told that they cannot refund us because it is a one-day pass and that it is non-negotiable.

My wife can't ski for more than two hours given to her leg problems, but no one wanted to help us, not even the ski lift information center. Even for a voucher for tomorrow…

I think that this attitude is very disappointing compared to resorts similar to yours where the customer service is much better, and wanted to report...

The situation at the pistes around St Anton is ridiculous these days! Half of them are closed what results in limited capacity. The Bergbahnen keep selling ski passes as usual and busses from all over the area are ‘dumping’ skiers by hundreds. On top op that the best pistes are closed for skiing tournaments the coming weeks.The results of all this is that the pistes look like real anthills. This creates continues dangerous situations. Helicopters are flying on and off with injured skiers. We visit this area for many years now and we never experienced this. We paid € 1800,- on ski passes with a family of five for one week. Galzig Bahn, Berg Station is a major hill top of ARLBERG mountains in St. Anton. This station you approach with Galzig “huge” gondola. This cable car was a unique project since build.
