This is a very upscale restaurant situated in historical old house with amazing atmosphere of the 19th century. The service and food are impeccable. Our server was very friendly and accommodated all our requests, including those that were out of the menu. For instance, one of my friends asked if the chef could make a duck breast instead of the main course as an appetizer, and they did just that. Everything was very delicious, starting from the bread and butter. They do provide you with apricot oil, which I initially thought is flavored olive oil. But no, it is a special kind of apricot oil and was so delicious that we had to ask for extra. My absolute favorite was lamb, version, and duck. From their desert menu, it is an absolute must to have Kaiserschmarm, which is arguably the best in Austria, and definitely in St. Anton. The creme Brule is also insane! We were offered a free shot of schnapps. Please take the hazelnut flavor. You will thank me later. But it wasn't it, as I mentioned the restaurant is located in a historical house and the second floor operates as a museum. Usually they charge 5 euros to visit it, but after 7 pm it is free. Our server was kind enough to give us a quick overview of the history of the region and town. The museums are small and composed only by 5 rooms, but it is informative and interesting enough to visit it to learn the history of the region. Overall it is a very nice and tasty place with a beautiful view. Please make a reservation to visit it

There was 8 of us who came for dinner and we were seated in their private dining room which really suited the group vibe. The service was very welcoming and Kathrine was a great waitress. The food was mostly good but it was on the pricier side given the quality. My friend and I shared the herb crusted saddle of lamb (great flavour and perfectly cooked lamb) and the trout with potatoes and root vegetables (the fish was cooked nicely but the flavour overall was very bland).

Had an absolutely delicious lunch here on the last day of the ski visit. We basically had the whole place to ourselves and enjoyed friendly staff, great beer and wonderful food. Afterwards, we also visited the museum upstairs which had a lot of interesting memorabilia and information about the sport of skiing in St. Anton & how it spread around the world... Enjoyed the picture of Hannes Schneider teaching the Japanese how to ski in the 1930 in Nozawa Onsen!!!

The staff where extremely rude explaining how in a ski vilage they dont allow ski boots but they have loofers for the boots its fine, so why tell me the boots arent allowed. When we ordered a bottle of wine they delivered the wrong year and didnt inform us it was a different year expecting us not to notice, luckily my colleagues did notice it and complained. Followed by when i wanted to leave because of how they addressed me i wasnt happy ,i asked where would you like me to place your loofers im leaving they simlpy replied "ohh good", im quoting here, (Really rude staff with no concept of being condescending followed by they have candles next to the table but because of low lighting we asked if we could place them in the middle and we where told no because we may burn the table. i think people in their 30S are able to not burn down a resturant because of actual candles, long story short, never gonna return here, staff can take a good long look in the mirror and please educate yourselves on how to treat customers, you ruined your country to me and i shall never be...

We enjoyed a very tasty dinner here with great service from the waiters - we recommend the trout fillet and the spinach and truffle risotto. It’s great to see a restaurant that offers smaller portions of the adult food as a kid’s menu rather than the usual nuggets and chips etc. However, our only negative point was the price of the tap water. We prefer to order tap water when possible for environmental reasons and while we’re happy to pay a few euros for this service, we were charged 6,50 euros for a carafe of water. This was the highest we’ve been charged for mineral water in 10 days or so of travel. We even checked the bill with the waiter to make sure but were told it’s the...
