Only tapas place in St. Anton, taste was good, service could be better...
The prices are not visible on the menu outside of the restaurant, we did therefore ask for a menu with a price and got handed a menu in a very unfriendly manner.
We had this spot in sight for a few days, but it was almost impossible to get a place outside. The first evening it was completely full. The second time one table was left, this was however reserved for the boss, we asked if we can reserve a table for another evening outside, but this wasn't possible, only reservations inside were possible. We took a walk inside and promptly concluded that it was unbearable due to the heat.
3rd time was our lucky time, we got one of the two available tables, the one table was for 4-6 people, the second one for two people, which we at firsr got, despite being three.
We had a quick look and could see that a lot of the table for 4 people were occupied by 2 persons.
One of the table for 4 did eventually become available and we asked if we could move, they hesitates, but at the ens said yes.
When ordering we asked about the sizes for some of the dishes, we just got the answer that is was a nice plate of meat etc. & they were also correct.
Red Wine was not chilled and therefore around 22 degrees warm ..
Shrimps tasted okay, but texture was horrible, the meat was great, chicken was bland and the meatballs were amazing!

Read moreWaited 30min outside to get seated It was a fun place to socialize and drink. But the food was not so great.Maybe I came on an off night or the line cooks were different. Most of the dishes were very salty. The blood sausage was extemely salty. The mushrooms were very plain with lots of salt. In comparison of those dishes setting the bar. The shrimp was alright. The potatoes were ok. The only thing that was actually good was the cuddlefish. The vegetable dish wasn't too bad. The octopus was a big disappointment. It was bland lacking any grilled flavor or olive oil and got cold very quickly. It was the more economical option in town. Nothing worthy of the wait time. If there is no line perhaps good for a snack, and a good place for...
Read moreRecommending! The concept of small plates contrasts with usual huge portions here and allows you to try several different things, so if you don't have any particular preference (or if your family preferences are diverging) - that is a place to go. The atmosphere is simple and cozy, service is friendly and very fast, so you don't need to order everything at once, asking for something else throughout the evening. For a 3.5h dinner we tried a dozen plates and all were excellent. With several cocktails, beers and wine we paid approx 40€ per person, which is a fair price for such an endless dinner. My big thanks to the kitchen chef, on my request to make really spicy shrimps I got exactly what i wanted - a hell hot snack...
