Marassi Galleria Mall — Local services in Muharraq Island

A person called Abdulla working with Enova Facilities Management at Al Marassi Galleria was harassing customers. He stopped me from getting to my car in the parking, and accused me of entering management office, when in fact I was guided by the security team to enter Dock 2 to collect my items. I did not enter any office, I went straight through the corridor to meet my Talabat delivery man and came back out. As I was approaching my car, he stopped me and asked me questions like an interrogation, like where I'm working and accusing me of going there without permission, when in fact security staff guided me to and from the place. He was suspicious of me without evidence or proof of any wrongdoing. Also he has no authority to stop and question people. I will not be shopping here again, if the staff are harassing people. It's a very bad experience and leaves a negative mark on the mall.

It was only my SECOND VISIT to this mall and this happened. On the contrary, I've been going to seef mall, aali mall, city center for over 30 years and not once did something like this happen. Clearly, the management have some inexperienced unethical staff.

We will never visit this mall again. Your staff need to learn manners and ethics, and by the way harassment and impeding pedestrian movement is illegal by law, next time we will call police if anyone tries to do this. Just because he is working there doesn't give him the right to interrogate shoppers based upon mere suspicion. He is not security, and even if security does this to a shopper, they cannot force them to answer questions or block their movement, or yell or shout at them or accuse anyone of any misconduct without clear proof. Your staff are immature and childish to say the least. They have no sense of moral or ethics or professionalism. People need to be aware that they may be subjected to harassment if they visit this mall. If he does it to one person, he may do it again. He also wasted 30 minutes of our time, by talking to us then we reported the incident to security. All of this hassle just because of his mere suspicion based on no evidence whatsoever.
