The new Shalban Buddhist Monastery has been established on an area of ​​about two and a half acres in the Kotbari area of ​​Comilla. This dazzling structure is a place of worship for Buddhists. Comilla's New Shalban Bihar is one of the Buddhist monasteries or peace pagodas in Southeast Asia. Some locals call it the World Peace Pagoda. Some people know it as a Buddhist temple. It is made in imitation of Thai pagodas. Near the entrance of the new Shalban Bihar, there is a huge golden statue of a 30-foot-tall Buddhist prayer weighing 6 tons.
