We were very disappointed of what you are getting for the price sou pay there. We paid 375€ for one night without breakfast and without any wellness features. The fact that you can not access the wellness area is unacceptable. You’ll have to pay additionally 195€ per room to use the wellness area on the 6th floor, that is ridiculous! We booked a north room with direct sea view, hence you could at least expect a 1 hour voucher being included in the room price to use those facilities. Although the hotel is brand new, the mirror inside the left elevate was already broken, the woodened paper wall at the reception next to the elevator started falling off. The C-Taste restaurant is indeendent and rhus fully unrelated to the hotel itself. Hence the hotel has really not much to offer except your room you are sleeping in and enjoy sea views. Other than that there is no fitness, no in-house restaurant beside the C-Bar, no generic wellness included. There is only the private wellness area which is not justified with such a price tags and non-flexibility!! Please rethink your current policy and at least allow free wellness vouchers for higher room categories. Moreover a fitness on the 6th floor with direct sea view would be nice to have as for hotel guests. Having only a private small wellness to offer is not enough for such high room rates. We were honestly expecting much more than what we got for this price!! My advise to management: please rework your policies and facilities in order to make your overall offering more attractive and allow for better experiences during a stay at your hotel. The current offering is not competitive and will not really match today’s expectations when paying...

Nieuw gebouw in Middelkerke dus daar moest ik toch eens geslapen hebben. Al was het maar voor 1 nacht. Nogal last minute beslist dus helaas geen kamers meer beschikbaar met zeezicht. En geen dubbele bedden wat als koppel jammer is. Overall hebben we ons de kamerkeuze en bed wel best beklaagd. Want het plein waarop het hotel gelegen is brengt heel veel lawaai met zich mee van de omliggende cafés. Daar heb je veel minder tot zelfs geen last van als je zeezicht neemt. Of je moet met de ramen gesloten slapen maar daar was de kamer te klein en niet luchtig genoeg voor. Dan is tijdens ons verblijf ook nog eens het brandalarm afgegaan midden de nacht voor een dik kwartier. En zo niet samen onder 1 dons kunnen slapen, toch beetje weg sfeer. We zijn dus verre van uitgerust vertrokken, wat meestal niet de bedoeling is natuurlijk van zo’n avondje weg.

Maar het is mooi, nieuw, design,… vlak aan het strand en dus toffe locatie. Het heeft een ruime moderne ondergrondse parking met rechtstreekse toegang tot het hotel zelf wat handig is bij eventueel slecht weer. Doch ook wel enkele kinderziektes. Zo gebruiken ze bvb grote pompbussen shampoo / conditioner / zeep. Pluspunten! Maar helaas werkte maar 1 pompje van de 5 die in de kamer stonden en moesten we van al de rest de stoppen er volledig afdraaien om aan de liquid te geraken. Onhandig en niet de bedoeling. En daardoor dus ook weg ecologisch standpunt want je had dan een massa zeep in je handen :) ook kan je rondom rond op terrassen lopen wat ook betekent dat lukraak iedereen met een kamer op je verdiep langs jouw kamer lopen kan. Weg privacy :) en ja - dat gebeurde wel degelijk desondanks dat er touwtjes tussen de kamers hangen. Maar die touwtjes werden precies enkel gebruikt om zwembroeken op te doen drogen dan echt als barrière.

Fijn wel dat er een toegankelijk casino gelegen is onder het hotel. Daar zijn we dan ook nog even binnen gesprongen.

We hadden rechtstreeks op de site geboekt en bij onze prijs zat geen ontbijt mee inbegrepen dus daar kan ik niet veel over vertellen. Wil het hotel vast nog wel eens testen met dan frontaal zeezicht, dubbele kamer en ontbijt erbij maar for now dus wel enigszins teleurgesteld en vooral met stevig slaaptekort...

The Silt Casino in Middelkerke has recently been inaugurated and standing proudly in the middle of this sharing town on the coastline between Ostende and Nieuwport. The architecture is unique and stands out proudly especially at night time. You can enjoy a walk on the beach front for miles either by foot or by bike and still see the Casino from afare. You can enjoy a drink or two inside and there is also a restaurant.. I personally experienced the Casino with a wide range of gambling tables or slot machines. They also run live shows and hire your own table ith champagne and food. Well...
