This is such an interesting museum, and possible unique. It contains carriages and locomotive engines that have been retired - some of which were constructed over 100 years previously. And unlike many similar museums around the world, these are displayed without any restoration/refurbishment, potentially as they have been since their retirement (50-60 years ago for some). Broken seats, decayed walls, rusting support structures, and even some debris. And you can climb in and explore the carriages and engines as well! Entry is 10 Bolivianos, and unlike the other train attraction in town, it’s very quiet. If you have time, well...

We came at 6pm .. a lady told us she will close in 20 min so better to come tomorrow. The following day museum was closed at 4pm, so we called the 3 different numbers and 1 ignored and 2 others told us that there is 1 key... And it's far away... Lol...huge investment for a museum with...

That was a really nice visit for only 10 Bob. You can go as you want in and on all the wagons and trains we really enjoyed it. We wouldn't have made the trip just for it obviously but if you have a bit of time to spend it's definitely a good choice!! I really don't understand the...

That was a really nice visit for only 10 Bob. You can go as you want in and on all the wagons and trains we really enjoyed it. We wouldn't have made the trip just for it obviously but if you have a bit of time to spend it's definitely a good choice!! I really don't understand the negative comments.
