The Kizuna bridge (Khmer: ស្ពានគីសូណា) is a bridge on the Mekong River in the town of Kampong Cham and in the district of Kampong Cham. Crosses: Mekong River Locale: Kampong Cham district, Cambodia Total length: 1,500 m Longest span: 170 m Opened: 4th of December 2001 It was opened in 2001 and was the first bridge to be built over the Mekong river in Cambodia. Construction of the bridge was funded by a $56 million grant from the Japanese government. At 1500 metres it was the longest bridge in Cambodia until the construction of the Koh Kong Bridge, a 1900-metre Thai-Cambodian bridge in Koh Kong built in 2002. The Kizuna bridge links eastern and western Cambodia by road for the first time. Construction of the bridge began in 1999 and took three years to complete. An estimated 10,000 people crowded the bridge for the opening ceremony.
You can see sun ris and sun set across the Mekong River, it is so beautiful scene, and has large space for running.
But, I suggest that, you should careful when driving, because it is very dangerous, some truck or long truck faster driving across this bridge from the high bridge to down roundabout at the start of the bridge, it can be face the traffic accident, if the long truck fail to control the speed. And sometimes has traffic accident at the middle of the bridge, because they are driving faster, and can't control the speed when raining, I remember that there are more than 100 life was killed in a traffic accident on March 2019, because, a truck shipped many chickens was hit by other truck, more than 100...

Even though it was very hot, the breeze from the river made it a pleasant walk. I first traveled west to east, facing north. And returned facing south.
