If Mr Make is reading this, I would just like to say a sincere thank you on behalf of me and my family. You and your fellow manager, together with your Frontline receptionists and the warm and friendly restaurant team, showed us guests what Siem Reap was really all about. You showed that your hotel offered the most beautiful setting, clean, cool and comfortable. The rooms were well maintained, had crispy linen and above all, was a relaxing place. In the evenings, your place transformed into a magic space. We really enjoyed your advice, guidance and arranging of transport services. These tasks often saw you working late until our needs were met, especially when we returned late from our visits to the local eateries. I just wish there was a better way to thank all of you for making our first visit to Cambodia a beautiful one. And please thank Mr Ban, one of your local drivers that you organized, that we were impressed with his dedication to take us around and even not charging us at one time. We insisted but he refused. Your team at the hotel showed great dedication and customer service. We are very grateful for also teaching us some of the Khmer...
Read moreI've been to another similar hotel in s similar country and it also suffered similar issues. Some I understand was due to the lack of support or resources but others can be controlled. I will list 2 items that I believe are under their own control. There is a TV in the room. The electrical plug is type G but the wall outlet is type C. Obviously it wasn't plugged in but where is the adaptor? The swimming pool has gone green because the hotel was empty for the last few days? The hotel only has 6 rooms and it was low season. We only stayed 2 nights and we were told it would be cleared on the day we left, and it did. Otherwise the hotel has a charming design, quaint and quiet, relaxed atmosphere, excellent service and good food. AC took a while to cool the room but was nice and comfortable. Hot water pressure was low. May be just our room? I still give it a 5 star rating as I believe the few minor items I mentioned will get...
Read moreHave you every wondered what it would be like to be welcomed into a traditional Khmer manor home, well you will be well satisfied with your experience at the PadiVilla Resort and Spa. You feel like family the moment you enter the resort. The Khmer home has been renovated into a boutique resort with uniquely designed rooms that all face a relaxation pool. Husnel the resort General Manager and Chef Mujianto organized every aspect of my time with them. Chef Muliant created a personalized menu each time I sat to eat. The food was specular and it kept coming. I was embarrassed that I could not come near finishing the 5 course meal. Husnel organized a tour to Ankor Wat (SPECTACULAR!) and spa treatments (one of the best massages I have had) . Ankok Wat was the primary purpose of my visit, but I was so taken by the Cambodian people and their pleasant and welcoming attitude - I...
