Check low and high tide time before your visit. Great scene when salt and fresh water meet. Too bad no one was surfing the wave at my visit. It was about an hour hike (up and down) to the spot. First lookout mainly observing whirlpools and second lookout which is around 15-20 minutes away for waves.

Really enjoyed the hike from the road. It goes past a bakery/coffee shop with great treats. Time your visit so that the flow is at its maximum! We also saw orcas there!

If you're in a wheelchair, don't bother trying to get here.

The trail is fine until you get to the BC Parks sign. Everything beyond these has been heavily eroded and not touched in by any...
