Took a friend there this evening for National Ceasar day to enjoy a flight of Ceasars and some.perogies. Had a reservation for 6pm. Needless to say all we got was perogies. Arrived for 6pm, not overly busy Only 2 staff members for an advertised event that they knew would be busy. We were told to sit where we liked and someone would come to our table to take our order. Half an hour past, no.order taken so we decided to get perogies in the event they would take the order with my fiance while we're gone. Nope. Come back after 10 min, no drink order taken. Bday girl went to the bar to have our order taken, got told someone would be right there to take it. Not happening. 15 min later we were done our food and still no drinks were taken. After almost an hour of being there, no drink order taken, we thoroughly enjoyed the perogies though, my party up and left and not sure if we will ever return. I work in the alcohol industry and that was pretty ignorant of them not even to a knowledge us sitting right there in front of them from the bar. Not even a sorry or sorry we forgot to take your order. Ignored the whole time. Knowing the attendance that you would get for this event it should have been staffed way differently. I did notice that it had a funny taste however l thought perhaps it was the plastic glass . The next day both myself and my sister were not feeling well. I smelt the gin and tasted it and it did not smell or taste right from other bottles of the same gin that I have purchased many times before. Both my husband and my brother said it smelt and tasted funny. I took it back to Mann's on the 29th here is Brantford which the girl took it back to the owner. I turned to look and noticed the owner had a grin on his face but seeing me they moved. The girl came back and said they could not give me my money back because it was half gone which was ok with me. I wanted to let them know it tasted funny and how my sister and l both got sick. She told me the owner tasted it and said nothing was wrong with it when there was. I told her to keep the rest of the bottle because l would not drink it for that reason. Not even a apology from the owner not going to buy this again for l feel that was poor customer service. After I purchased said vodka bottle, I thought it would be nice to have a beverage with my brothers. I calculated the time because the band play four songs before I decided to go back to bar to ask about our drinks. The server asked what drinks.
