Floral Acres Greenhouses — Local services in Corman Park No. 344

I have mixed feelings. It's my favorite green house plant wise and I love that they have kitties. But their speakers are absolutely horrible!!! And play some really bad music and its loud. Everytime i go i ask them if they could turn it down a little and they always do... but my ears still want to bleed. I often have to wear my noise canceling headphones and have to play rain in the background just to find some sort of peace. I love driving out there and appreciate they turn it down a little bit. But I won't be able to come anymore. I suggest playing soft bird sounds or rain or something peaceful, to me a green house should feel like an escape, tranquil, should feel comfortable and feel calm. I understand the workers would get bored with no music but how about put in one ear bud and have their own music In their ear? I don't see why not. 3 week UPDATE! - had to let the old leaves dry out before deciding to chop them on the Mcdowell, but the stems were still in great shape and a new leaf is on it's way! Also the Syngonium chiapense frosted heart is growing like mad! 😍

Plants were packed so well, and shipped quickly!! Unfortunately the Mcdowell I ordered didn't travel well, it was shipped with a heatpack, but this is the risk you take when ordering online in January and not checking the local weather first!! (Even when they tell you to - hindsight!!) All that said, I will 100% order from them again! Their selection and price point is awesome!!

I highly recommend Floral Acres. 1. They have supported my online auctions for Make-A-Wish Saskatchewan. 2. Staff are friendly and supportive and helpful. 3. They deliver here in Saskatoon free of charge. I have shopped in store and recently made two purchases online. I am very happy with the plants I have received. Of course when bringing new plants into my home I always treat for bugs/pests. These greenhouses have a lot of plants to care for and bugs and pests are normal. So not uncommon to spot webs etc when receiving them. Also keep in mind webbing might be from a good spider. 😉 While one of these plants had a web I did not see any spiders and no damage to the plant.
