Beautiful, was fortunate enough to be able to tour the cathedral in 2003. Recent visit we could have arranged a tour by calling the number for a guide however didn't have time. Highly recommend making the effort to see this historic landmark even if you are not Catholic. If you are Catholic, it's a lasting tribute of faith and community. Imagine building this today, in a town this size. What had to happen for this wonder to manifest onto the landscape of the Prairie? Personally, I find that alone...

Stopped at the church on our way through Gravelbourg. Pulled into parking lot. There was a man doing something with his car there. I said hello and he told me he was a tour guide. I said is the church locked to which he replied yes. I said oh just wanted to have a look. He said no and turned away from me. Nice. Churches are locked. Locked. I know vandalism.
