Subway — Restaurant in Gravelbourg

Have been to this location several times before in the last 2 years most recently in April of 2024. I will say when comparing this location to the Assiniboia location in my opinion this would be a no brainer. They keep this location way cleaner and the food quality is WAY BETTER than the former. However having said that, we have experienced language barrier issues here too. They don't seem to acknowledge you when you ask for COOKED I.e. microwaved bacon on your sub. On the positive side they definitely process lineups of customers better and are far quicker in preparation of food. On the cleaning side they could definitely have employees wiping down tables properly and not leaving crumbs and food debris. As well as mopping floors more frequently. As well the debit machine was dirty as was their beverage dispenser at our last visit. I would suggest work needs to be done in cleanliness of their high touch surfaces. We are not that far post covid that food establishments should ever get lazy with thorough cleaning procedures. Overall the food quality was okay average...

Avoid at all costs! Drove through Gravelbourg, stopped by Subway. Male worker (possibly owner) was super rude. When asked to put some more vegetables (i.e. onions after he only put 2 slices down), he said he was not allowed to, and then when we used a coupon that was sent to us in the mail, he was extremely rude and made it seem like we were taking advantage of him and doing something wrong. The subs we received were very light on toppings and we have never had such thin subs from any Subway we have gone to in the past. And we have gone to quite a few Subways as it is generally our favourite fast food. We will go elsewhere next time we are...

The morning worker who is supposed to open the store at 7 comes sauntering in whenever he feels like looking like he just dragged himself out of bed. Aren't you supposed to come in a little early to prep stuff instead of doing it while paying customers are standing there waiting?? Did this 2 days in a row. Had to come back cause there are no other options for breakfast in the area when you are a worker in the area. Cold breakfast sandwiches this morning and finally able to get some watered down coffee almost 20 minutes after ordering it. I pray that I never have to have the displeasure of having to...
