Store Review:
I recently shopped at Intermarche Palumbo on Chambanel and I must say it was an awful experience. When I approached the meat and cold cuts counter, the employee there a young lady refused to serve me cause she was busy making sandwiches. Even after another staff member specifically instructed her to do so. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also incredibly rude and unacceptable. The boss saw that she did not serve me but did NOT care at all to serve a valuable customer for over 20 years…..
The lack of basic customer service was shocking. Such an attitude from the staff made my shopping experience unpleasant and frustrating. I expected better from a store that prides itself on customer service.
Given this experience, I strongly recommend trying other grocery stores. Not only do they offer cheaper prices, but they also have friendlier staff who are more than willing to assist their clients. Save yourself the trouble and...
Read moreThe only thing I can say is the bread is good when it comes out of the oven. The owner of this place doesn’t really care about the quality of the food or costumer service. Every time I go to this place, I always feel uncomfortable and the list goes on... The employees there seems to have more fun than anything. They even took it upon themselves to judge someone because the person was paying with change and unlucky for them, the person blasted them and they quickly shout their flapping gums. The ironic thing is this place still makes money and I don’t understand why. Disgusting people who loves to judge others without looking at themselves in the mirror. You have to have a mouth in order to go there otherwise they will walk on you so that’s why I never smile or pay attention when I go there.. Sometimes when you have no choice and you need something quick.. You have to go there otherwise...
Read moreI work in the area and I used to go there out of necessity to save me a trip to a nicer grocery store. Horrible customer service, questionable cleanliness, and you have to be careful what you order. Once I ordered Bologna and when I got home, it was kind of slimy. I went back the next day to complain and was astounded by their reply: "Of course it's not fresh, we hardly sell any bologna so it goes bad. you shouldn't buy that!" What kind of answer is that? If your product goes bad AND YOU KNOW IT, don't sell it to customers. How am I supposed to know which product is safe to buy or not? Another time before that, I bought a pre-made sandwich and when I started to eat it, I realized they hadn't removed the plastic from the cold cuts inside. I have many more stories like this about Palumbo Chabanel but you...
