I was in Kingston today. If you have a business class and have acces to the lounge. They have the following ''rule'' of there own. All juice and soft drink must be consumed in the lounge. No take out. Not sure about coffe. To my understanding, we can drink as many juice as we can. I've took 3 bottle and did a very last minute train change decision. VIA 42 was a bit late and decided to take it. I was suppose to be on VIA #644. The salon has a cam pointed at the fridge and the whole salon. I felt being spy or monitor. The guy at the counter did not see I had business plus and had the pay 7$ for a premium seat when its free in business plus. The whole thing happen in the matter of minutes. I have autism (consider asperger) and adhd. Whoever was working on that day September 30 2024. I was not impress. This is the #4 complaint in one day. My father made 2 plus request for a writting version, my mother made 1. I'm making 1 plus another 1 soon. If I was able to afford a car and have the mental capacity to drive. I will drive or take mega bus especially for a day...

Via rail is such a bump-up in quality of life for traveling. It's refreshing and unwinding, too. Good for the soul - and practical. Also... THE OLD TRAINS HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH FRESH NEW TRAINS.

While on a train you don't have to do anything - there is nothing for you to do. You pick.

On this last trip, I got done something I'd been putting off for months - spending the remainder of my Audible credits and cancelling. I just saved myself while on the train💰

You can read, code, game, introspect, relax, chat, stare at stuff outside, sleep, think, don't think, have a bathroom break, eat a sandwich, have a coffee (served to me), eat a cookie, eat a sandwich (also served), enjoy a beer (served), talk to a stranger, or not, listen to music, catch up on discord chats/texts/emails, cancel subscriptions that you forgot you were subscribed to, call your mom, etc.

We took the train from Ottawa to Quebec City return in business class and what an all around fantastic experience this was! The agents were super friendly, attentive and funny! The atmosphere relaxing. The food was really good and they offered the choice of 3 warm dishes along with a salad, bread and dessert. Bar was well stocked with many choices. They came around often to make sure we were completely satisfied! The train itself was clean but it’s never a bad idea to bring your own disinfecting wipes. Plenty of space for luggage and leg room. The AC works well so make sure to bring a jacket as they do not offer blankets. Due to extreme heat during our travels the train was delayed half hour but we were forewarned with their App. All in all this was an amazing experience and much more relaxing way to travel.
