If there is negative point of rating to give, I would. What a terrible experience this afternoon at this store! My wife and I as tourist from another Ontario city, went to this KFC at 1407 Princess Street, Kingston, ON about 6:30 pm on Sept. 3rd. There is another couple eating inside at a table when we came in. The guy at the counter has an appearance of South Asian origin, has a very strong foreign accent. We ordered 3-pc combo meal with drink included. I asked can you give us a tray, since we like to dine in(outside was hot), I said "we only need 10 to 15 minutes". He said they are about to close, and insisted he can only give me the food in a paper bag. When we were about to sit at a table, I realized there is no drink cup. I returned immediately and said there is no drink cup. He said with impatience "you grab the cup yourself", even though the cup is only 3 feet from him. I said you should hand over the cup to me. This guy got upset so easily, and said "you are not polite". I said other stores hand the cup over to customer. This guy then kept repeating the accusation that I am not polite, and will not hand over the cup.
I asked him where I am being not polite? that is when verbal arguments started.
Due to his rudeness, I said then I want to return the order, not ordering here any more. The guy said no return since I already touched the box, and he said "it is Covid period" for no return at all.
I said I want to talk to your manger, and he said, "I am the manager".
I said you have such a bad service. He then started yelling to me "don' talk!", "don't talk!". In this free country of Canada, he was prohibiting me from commenting on his bad service.
We left immediately with big frustration. Not only the service was rude and harsh, the food including the chicken pieces and the fries tasted like wax, no way would I think it is from the KFC I remembered.
With such bad service and quality I am wondering how this business had lasted?? or it just changed to a owner that gave no training at all to staff?? we will never eat at this store any...

First review I’ve ever written the experience was so awful
Had ordered through their delivery and the order ending up having some missing items no big deal, I call and inform them they had forgotten some of my order and asked if something could be done about it instead whoever I was on the phone with laid the phone down didn’t hang up and continued to work the order line. Me and my family went to the kfc on Gardner’s and by the time we got there and explained the situation to them I still on the phone with this kfc for over 45 mins. Luckily after explaining what happened the Gardner’s restaurant actually remade the whole order for free. Go to the kfc on Gardner’s this one has absolute dookie customer service

Read moreWent to this KFC at 9:00 pm and there was one person ahead of us in the drive through who was served immediately. Yet when we waited to place our order for 15 minutes and made repeated attempts to see if anyone could hear us, no one responded at all. We drove around and saw that the person in front of us was being handed their food and went back into the drive through to wait and see if they would let us order since the person ahead has been served and left. Again for 10 minutes no response, yet the employee inside was clearly standing there with no customers inside to serve. One of the worst experiences @ any fast food place, just disrespectful for a place clearly marked as open...
