On January 27th I walked into this bestbuy with intentions to buy the Jabra Pro 7 headphones and after I got an employee to help me get the headphones out of the case the employee cashed me out and I thought everything was going well the box did seem a little light, I went home opened the box and there were no headphones in the box I went back to the bestbuy. I went to customer service to complain about the issue with my brother present he watched me open up the box. And all the manager had to say was āThis is a lock up item thereās no way this could happenā basically accusing me of stealing the product!!!!! she tells me to hang tight me and my bro wait about 40 minutes And the manager tells me that Iāll have to file a complaint and she said sheād call me on January 28th I have yet to receive a call. I have not had one problem with this bestbuy before and I was glad to spend my money but I canāt believe Iām being accused of stealing the product!!! They sold me an empty box for 180$ Iām still waiting to see if they call me. This is actually ridiculous all I want is the headphones I paid for not the box man. Please just give me the product I paid for if I donāt please people donāt shop here again theyāll scam you then claim you stole the product. Update Jan 30th a new group of customer service representatives treated me very well thankyou to Nolan and Marcel I got my product today thanks to them! Thanks guys. Matt was incredibly attentive and he followed up on a huge appliance sale that we had been preparing for the last few months. He not only remembered what we wanted then (without pressuring us to buy) but he managed to call back a month or so later and informed us about a VIP sale which really worked towards our favor.
That really already made us feel like VIPs and he greeted us at the door and set us up with one of his associates, Alyssa, who was very friendly and helpful. The whole sale (for all household appliances and more) took less than 30 minutes which we appalled us because we thought the process would take much longer. We actually spent 80% of the time having friendly banter rather than the sale as everything was double checked and confirmed before we moved onwards.
Retail and shopping experiences are incredibly subjective but I do solely believe it comes down to leaders and management of the particular store. From what we gathered, Matt had started roughly only a few months ago and we highly recommend looking for him to start off any major purchases (Appliances & TV). He'll definitely ease the experience and make things a lot easier and also set you up with his associates to get you the best deal and answer any questions you have. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was browsing new cell phone options earlier in the day at the Orangeville location a couple of weeks ago, after speaking with the associate selling phones I opted to review buying direct from Bell. Coincidentally my phone stoped working that same day. I decided I was going to require a phone sooner than later so I travelled 30 minutes back to BestBuy to purchase a new cell phone. The store closed at 5pm this day and I arrived about 15-20 minutes prior too. The associate I initially spoken to informed me that she couldnāt assist because the process would take longer than the time between when I arrived to when the store closed. Keep in mind I was going to purchase a 1500$ phone on the spot plus a case, screen protector and potentially warranty. I was turned away. Unfortunately by this time most other stores were also closed. I went to Bell directly the following morning and purchased the phone and required accessories all in under 15 minutes I might add. The Bell staff were courteous, effective and efficient and also confirmed that the sales person at Best Buy wasnāt very well informed.
