Update: I reviewed this business 4 years ago, and needed to take a moment to update my review. I had to use the air conditioning services of A Village Fireplace Shop this season. I started my air conditioner this year, (note: it was installed by a different business) and it didn't work! I contacted A Village Fireplace Shop and I am so happy I did! They were able to make a same day appointment for me. After some troubleshooting, I had to purchase a new air conditioner. I was so happy I was able to receive a quote the same day! I had a brand new air conditioner installed days later!

I am so happy with the honesty and transparency of this business. I appreciate the time they took to explain what was going on with my system and the options I had moving forward. The technicians that installed my system were professional, on time, and very clean! I was always made aware of what was going on, and the quote I received was the amount that I paid. Each line item was clearly described and accurate. Anytime I had a question, the business answered their phone and were able to help immediately.

VFS provided and installed our Valor fireplace insert several years earlier which we have been very happy with. Superior workmanship. Superior showroom and staff. Recently, our made in China, expensive, Weber BBQ died yet again so it was only natural to contact VFS since they also carry the high quality, Canadian Made, Napoleon line. VFS office staff were very nice and knowledgeable. We were very impressed with the many Napoleon BBQs that VFS had on display. We also wanted to switch to natural gas from propane. No problem. VFS had an estimator come out to assess the natural gas line install. Very professional and accurate estimate. Charged exactly as per the estimate. To our surprise and delight, VFS assembled the BBQ in their shop at no extra cost. The VFS crew arrived on the promised date & on-time to deliver the BBQ and install the new natural gas line. There were some questions/concerns during the line install but the VFS crew responded courteously and professionally to ensure our needs were met. Superior workmanship again was noted. Very happy with how the final install turned out. All questions were answered as the VFS crew demonstrated operation of the new BBQ. The team from a village fireplace was absolutely great. We initially met with Amanda to go over the options for the unused wood burning fireplace in the home we purchased. The chimney had been capped off too, so that presented some challenges for venting. Amanda took the time to educate us and explain the options available. We met in the shop and picked the gas insert, log style, etc. On the day of install everyone came together to make it happen. The electricians did their part, and the team from a village ran a gas line and installed the fireplace. It looks amazing and we are super happy.
