We had a bit of an awkward layout for the main part of our house so we decided to get some professional help. Well, we couldn't have contacted anyone better than Judith and her team for the job. There is something about Judith I can't put my finger on, but from the moment she pulls up to your house, it feels like you're talking with an old friend. It may sound corny, but she has an inner light that shines outward and draws you in -- I just can't explain it. And everyone else I have dealt with (Ellen, Heather, Tom) have also been amazing. These guys and gals treat you like you're their only customer and you never feel pressured or rushed. You definitely get the star treatment each and every time.

The store is absolutely beautiful and such a treat to peruse, I wish I lived closer and could visit more often. My numerous emails are always responded to in a timely fashion with thoughtful, enthusiastic, and detailed responses. Judith personally checked in to make sure we were happy with our items and the team went above and beyond when we had some snafus (quickly and satisfactorily resolved -- no fault of theirs). The end result from our first consult turned out amazing and we couldn't be more pleased. Yes, the items are on the more expensive side, but we have found these pieces to be well made and many of them will outlast us. They hold up well even with a very bad cat. Payment options are very flexible, too.

At first, furnishing our new home felt like an enormous chore we didn't want to undertake, but these guys actually make it fun with an end result you'll be proud to share with friends and family. We are currently working on another project with Judith and Heather and we can't wait to see the end result!!

We moved to The Royal Condominiums in 2021, the building where Tuck is located and although I am a credentialed Interior Designer, we thought we would begin on the right foot by supporting local business. We paid close to $10,000 for a Gus Modern sectional, purchasing additional expensive pieces as well. The large modular sectional would not stay together and constantly slid apart. We examined the clips and they were inadequate and made of light plastic. I called the owner, Judith Mackin so seek some solutions for our expensive piece. A very different personality showed up than the one that happily made the various sales. She was rude, dismissive, uncooperative, offensive and unhelpful. She is fortunate to have good staff, who stepped in and although it took several weeks, eventually the plastic clips were replaced with proper metal clips. (after they tried to replace the cheap clips with the same cheap clips). Apparently, although selling themselves as providers of Interior Design, no one there, including the owner have any education or credentials in Interior Design. At least that is what I've been told by both the staff and people in the community who actually feel the same way as we do. They are in fact Debbie Decorators charging premium prices, probably because they can. They appear to be the only show in town. So if you like black, charcoal, black and a bit more black with wood thrown in for good measure, give them a call. If you enjoy paying premium prices for a lot of Homesense tchotchkes, and up pricing from the manufacturers suggested retail, drop on by. Communication with Ms. Mackin is at least curious. The experience with Tuck Studios made us reflect on our countless disjointed home purchases, often resulting in returns or settling for things that left our space incomplete and unpolished. Seeking design help was the best decision and investment we could have made! It has saved us money in the long run.
