About 20 years ago, tween son wanted good quality leg of lamb, and found this neighborhood GEM 💎 🌹💎!!! Since then, we buy Great Quality: 1. grass fed rib eye steaks (cut to order & trimmed), 2. flank steak (very flavorful), 3. beef short rib (sliced as requested), 4. skinless boneless chicken, 4. pork baby back ribs, 5. Marinated ready to grill lamb, pork & chicken souvlaki (delicious). We normally cook them on BBQ grill, but easy to oven roast on parchment paper @ 450 degrees; 15 min each side. Their Tzatziki and Pasta sauce (spicy and regular) excellent as well. Really glad George continued the business when dad (& uncle) retired. Staff provides great “butcher” service, always friendly and accommodating. Thank you 😊!

Definitely my favourite butcher in Toronto. If you want a nice cut of meat or if you want a different cut, you will surprised how much those guys like their job. Cooking tips, meal suggestions or simply to order something in advance.. You won’t be disappointed. Everything they do they do it with passion. Once you find a butcher like that in Toronto, you won’t go anywhere else. If you have a chance, try their tomato sauce. I was extremely sceptical when they offered it to me but now that I tried, I won’t have to make my own anymore. Cheers to all their team!

- Over 1kg of chicken breast - 4 sausages - 7 juicy, delicious pieces of bacon - $25 total The quality and taste of the meat speaks for itself, however, I'm here to confirm that it is amazing. Additionally, the fact that the price is extremely fair makes Ellas a no brainer. Goodbye grocery store meat, you have been replaced for good! If you're anywhere near the area, this has got to be your go-to.

I have been buying my meat at Ellas for a couple of years. The store is bright and always clean. The inventory and variety is large and the quality is excellent. For some reason I always think that this is the best place to buy any kind of poultry. There is a large, very knowledgeable and friendly staff who always seem patient with the customers trying to make on-the-spot decisions. As others have mentioned, the price always seems fair so why buy from a chain supermarket. And I agree that their own piri-piri sauce is terrific. There is a paid parking lot on the side of the store and a few spots on the street. This is one of the only places I can but fresh chick livers which I love for making pate....

Great to see younger butchers and other ethnicities also individuals with disabilities working in the butcher shop. The young Asian female butcher served me. Everyone seem very cool. However, the lamb chops was pretty pricey for 5 small pieces and was super fatty. I was more on my phone but I WISH I took time to look at the rack more than a work text . PURE FAT !and to price $18 for that I was in disbelief. I didn’t want to be rude and say take it back ( I would of) but she was nice. I wouldn’t say this is the best place for lamb like other reviews! Neither best prices!Overall it’s a friendly store and clean just don’t go for lamb chops if you don’t have...
